Page 6 January 13th, 2011 Valley News &Views Drayton Hosts C-Squad Boy's Basketball Courtesy of Murph Thompson The Drayton Public School played host to six area C- Squad Boys' Basketball teams on Saturday, January 8, 2011. The opening game tipped off at 9:00 AM with North Border Batting Grafton. The Spoilers came away with a 62-42 victory over the North Border Eagles. The Storm from Stephen-Argyle toppled the Valley-Edinburg Titans in game two by a score of 47-30. Cavalier and Midway-Minto squared offin game three. The Tornadoes were victorious out scoring the Mustangs 53 to 17. The afternoon started with the North Border Eagles and Valley-Edinburg Titans taking to the hardwood. The NB Eagles put together some offense throwing down 55 points to come away with the victory 55 to 29 over the Titans. Grafton and Cavalier ran up and down the floor in the following game with the Spoilers racking up 58 points to out score the Tornadoes who finished with 40 points in the game.
