O Oops Forgot To Mention I for got to mention that Kelton Karboviak who recently made the John D. OdegardSchoolOfAerospace Sciences Dean's List for the 2012 Fall Semester, was majoring in computer science there. It's kind of funny, the ladies working the checkout at Kellys, where you will find the most recent copy of the Valley News and Views available for a mere 75 cents, are frequently frequently presented with questions from Kelly's customer omissions, clarifications and the like found in the paper. Kelton's study area was the most asked question this week. This is probably a very good idea for managing complaints about the paper. I really like it. If you have a beef, go to Kelly's and give the checkout ladies hell. Now that doesn't mean that you can turn around and read me the riot act if you have a problem with one of Kelly's sausages. Speaking of which .... (fanfare) Sausage of the Week Kelly's Sausage of the Week is his Drayton Polish. He says it's the mustard seed that everyone loves and people just can't get enough of it. He also has a polish with cheddar available. I was informed that they were for sale through the school. Lots ofstufffrom scarfs and sweatpants to sweatshirts, pullovers and other things that I don't know what they're called. Nice stuff though. If you're interesting in some wearing some nice garb and supporting the school at the same time, you can buy some of it. Prices range from approximately $11 to $40. Items in the picture and thus, down at the school are display items and not for sale. If you'd like something feel free to drop by the school, check out the display and place an order. Last fall Laurel Brusseau and Hubby Paul took an extended trip out to the eastern United States. One of their many excursions was a cruise on the Potomac River. Camera happy Laurel took a night picture of the New York skyline. She is shown painting from that photo. If you don't get to see it at the gallery, I am sure you may see the painting at the Art Show 2013 in May. I hope you can see the picture she is painting from and notice the skyline and lights of NewYork. Quite an undertaking. Laurel joined the Brush Bunch in the 1977-1978 season. At present she is serving her second term as club president. In one of the past articles Laurel was quoted as saying " I don't have to be good (at painting) it's MY HOBBY I only have to have fun". Laurel has taken several oil painting class over the years and shares her many talents with everyone along with supplies, advice and just plain encouragement. The coffee pot is always on, so stop by and see "the Brush Bunch at work" any Tuesday from 10 - 4 PM.
