Healthy Continued From Page 1 there there five days a week to get you straightened out. Drayton Chiropractic is the newest of the health related businesses in the building. Dr. Jana Riley-Kraulik, opened the doors last year, expanding her operation from Karlstad to Drayton. Dr. Cathy Hengel Borud came on board a short time ago and heads up the Drayton operation. Once again a well-equipped and first class establishment. If you've not been there, you should at least stop by and say hello. You've got some smart folks out there who not only can take care of you physically, but can give you a good education on things too. Plus they're fun to visit with and very community oriented. Of course we also have our flag restaurant, Hasting's Landing now open at the south end of the building. Again, first class, well equipped and food to die for. For me I mean that literally.., eat till I burst. The food is great and I'm not kidding. I think anyone who eats there will tell you that. Kip's working his butt off to get established and doing a great job. People should be and are coming from miles around to eat there. You ex- pats and snowbirds have something truly great to look forward to when you return for a visit. Finally, just the past week, another new sign in the window.. TEK Source. O CHS to Host Free Will Breakfast As you know, CHS Inc. in Drayton, ND is gathering donations of money, food and crops to help raise the equivalent of 2 million meals for the hungry families in our area. As part of CHS Harvest for Hunger food and fund drive, CHS Drayton will accept contributions from March 1, 2013 till March 20, 2013 at its locations in Drayton, Joliette, Cavalier, Hensel, Glasston, Grafton, ND and Kennedy, MN, and deliver them to the Great Plains regional food Bank in Fargo, which supplies our local area food pantries. It is also sponsoring several fun, community events to help promote the drive. First CHS we are going to have a free will breakfast sponsored by the CHS Drayton group and its employees at the Drayton Community Center on March 2nd for a kickoff for the campaign. Everyone is welcome to join us for a good meal and drop off food, donations or just come to share a cup of coffee with us. We will be having a silent auction with items donated by local businesses. Next we want to invite you for some winter fun on Saturday, March 12 in Cavalier. We will be creating a 9-hole miniature golf course at the Cavalier Golf Course. We are looking for local businesses to sponsor and decorate the 9 holes and be ready for fun in the snow. CHS will have hot dogs and refreshments for all to enjoy. Come golf and help feed the hungry! World Day Of Prayer March 15 World Day of Prayer will be held on Friday, March 15th, at 1:30 p.m. at the Drayton IT dude, with years of experience. A network specialist he is ready and fully capable maintaining and setting up business and residential IT services. For the novice, IT stands for information technology... means there's a computer or two in there somewhere. He not only can take care of your sick computers, but he is an award winning graphic artist, specializing in logo and web designs. He's just in the process of moving in and will give us his schedule once he's established in the building. Good guy to keep around and in his type of operation we should be able to drum up business for him from just about anywhere in the world. So let's talk him up. So, for all us locals, this is a good refresher on what has evolved over the past couple years on the north end. It looked pretty grim for a while, but because in a large part, of some hard work and good thinking of some of our community planners and organizations we've gone from the end of a truly pride- worthy establishment to the development of a whole slug of them. We've got a lot of good businesses out there and around the community that are worthy of bragging about a little. Sometimes we need to remind ourselves of that, as well as folks we know here and afar. For the snow birds and ex- pats, I know you're eager to get back here and some even want to move back and take advantage of some of the yet untapped opportunities around the area. You're more than welcome, and even you don't, it won't hurt to talk the town up a little bit. It's kind of cool what's evolved here. Makes you wonder what we might be able to come up with next .... * * * Sunday Buffet* * * I 0:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Open Sundays 7.'00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) i Homemade Soups and Lunch Specials Daily Call for the Day's Special Attention Truckers We Have Great Dally Noon Specials Ready to be Served Up Quickly Stop In Or Call In Advance For Takeout 701-454-3425 C oC6,==., Attorney at Law 910 Hill Ave. PO Box 70 Grafton ND 58237 (701)352-0916 Farmland Sales and Leases Real Estate and Business Planning Estate Planning, Probate and Tax Licensed in North Dakota and Minnesota "Doing business without advertising is like winking at a girl in the dark.
