CentralCityRemodelers.com Letter of Thanks Chris and I would like to thank everyone for their response to the benefit for Nicholas. We truly appreciate the generosity of your time. prayers, donations, and overall sincere concern for our family. The benefit was a true success in every way possible. We feel blessed by the number of people who were able to come, even when the weather was not ideal. We also know others would have liked to have been there and were unable to attend. We appreciate your intentions, but ND winters seldom cooperate with our plans. Over 350 people were served at the meal and over 140 silent auction items were donated by family, friends and businesses. We would like to single out a few key people who took a considerable amount of their personal time away from their families to help ours. My sisters, Heidi Gudajtes & Diana Laxdal; my friends Kristi Quibell, Jessie Aasand, & Kayla Thompson; and Drayton Knights President, Barbie Steenerson. I know there were a number of family and friends that helped set up, get donations, and spread the word. I was not privy to all the information of all who were involved, but we would like to say thank you for all your efforts helping make it the success that it was. Nicholas is doing well, It has been a month since his last surgery, and he has gotten two teeth, found his voice, and is trying to roll. Even though he is not supposed to have 'tummy time' for 2 more weeks. He is a quick healer. The doctors are pleased with how well he is doing. We will continue to see the Mayo doctors at Altru until his next surgery, which will be when he is 2 years old. I was told once that we stay in this area for the people, not the weather. And that's been proven to be true.
