First on the list, Gerri Benoit. Gerri was one of the founders of the Brush Bunch in November of 1971 and an active member for several years while being a farmers wife and mother. Gerri's oil painting of Red Poppies with White and Blue Daisies is shown, after setting for some time the petals began to fall. Very beautiful painting Gerri and thanks for sharing this with us at our showing in December. Gerrie is presently a resident of Pembiler Nursing Center in Walhalla. Our 39th annual art show, Dakota Country, is quickly moving up. Remember May 1st and 2nd are the dates. We are planning several activities to involve the visitors, especially the youth. Paintings and cards will be offered for sale. Door prizes and drawings will be held. Dinner guests on Saturday evening were John and Cathy Larson, Sioux Falls. Paul Byzewski of Fergus Falls, Minnesota and Patrick Byzewski of Minneapolis, Minnesota were weekend guests of Pete and Helen Byzewski. MI enjoyed breakfast at St. Edwards Parish Center on Sunday morning. Saralee Baby Shower Honoring Keston Kraft Son of Nicki and Scott Kraft Sunday March 28th 2:00 p.m. Drayton Lutheran Church Everyone Welcome MondayMarch 15th Phyllis Holter went to the home of John and ]anelle Nyegaard in Hallock to celebrate the birthdays of Colton and Nolan Nyegaard. On Tuesday Saralee Hoselton and Linda Hoselton had supper at Shaninagan's in Grafton. That day Saralee attended the township meetings for Drayton and Lincoln Townships. Others at the Lincoln Township meeting held at Curt and Pare Christenson's farm shop included David and Shirley Raney and Doug Chertoff. Merv and Phyllis Holter took Mildred Flach to Grand Forks Thursday March 18th. Saralee Hoselton and Shirley Raney were among those who had dinner at the Sugar Bowl Senior Citizen's Center Thursday. That afternoon Saralee went to Fargo to the Geoff and Hope Hoselton home where she spent the night. That evening Saralee, Virginia Fabela, Geoff and Hope were among those attending the Carl Ben Eielson Spring Orchestra Concerts for 6th, 7th, & 8th grades. Faith and Christopher were members of the orchestras for their respective grades. Later that evening they enjoyed birthday cake in belated celebration of Dakotah's 11 th birthday. March 19th Chester and Donna Kalka visited Laddie Kalka wh0 was a patient in Ahru Hospital in Grand Forks. Janelle Nyegaard Megan and Colton visited Merve and Phyllis Holter Friday night. Cindy Meader, Jessie Meader, Mike Ryan, Gavin and Dylan Meade'r went to Grand Forks to celebrate the 4th birthday of Skylar Barta. Judy Stellon attended the annual business meeting of "The Rock" held at the Assembly of God Church. Sunday night Merv and Phyllis Holter attended a concert put on by Maryanne Rastevold at the Hallock Assembly of God Church. Hey Ora Marie, We Sure Hope You're Feeling Better. Get Well Soon!
