Wednesday, as we mentioned last week, the Jr. high/high school band and choir went to Pembina to compete. We started in the morning with the choir performing their two songs, and then right after that the band played their two songs. There was only one solo from Drayton playing an instrument, and that was Brianna Wink with her flute. Although, there were quite a few choir solos and small groups that performed. does a comedy stunt show and did tricks likej u ggling and hacky-sack (don't be fooled when we say hacky sack. He went to like the hacky sack world championship and got eighth. He was AMAZING!) He was even on America's Got Talent! On April fourteenth there will be a Pembina county indoor track meet! We will try to supply you with more information later. The Region Speech Meet is on April sixth, but at least 3/7 girls will not be able to go to the meet because they will be playing in the Junior Grand Am that day. Success is failure turned inside out; the silver tint of the clouds of doubt; and you can never tell how close you are; it may be near when it seems afar. So, stick to the fight when you're hardest hit - it's when things go wrong that you mustn't quit." The other day when Tracy was at work he was telling a few of the guys about Mike's latest struggles. One of our friends who you wouldn't expect by looking at him to have such a big heart got tears in his eyes, bowed his head, and said, "That is the strongest man I have ever met in my life." We love that friend's kind heart. I couldn't agree more. My big brother has been through so much and yet more often than not, he is the one saying to me "Remember attitude is everything." I admire and love him more than he knows. He is the epitome of sticking to the fight when one's hardest hit. Sometimes along the way we are confronted with circumstances that make doubt creep in. If we can keep our hearts open, hope will come like a strong gust of wind just as quickly and pull us back to the place of peace God intended us to experience.
