She is Richard and Gayle's great granddaughter. Wednesday April 18th Saralee Hoselton had lunch at the Caribou Grill in Hallock with Pat Wise. April 18th Gayle McConnell went to Grand Forks and visited the twin boys, Winston and Phillip, of Dustin and Mary Martin (Gayle's niece). Saralee Hoselton went to Fargo April 19 where she had supper with the Geoff and Hope Hoselton family. Later Geoff, Hope and Saralee and Virginia Fabela attended the musical "Tumbleweeds" at the Carl Ben Eielson Middle School; Faith and Dakotah were cast members. The next morning Saralee left for the Adam and Catie Hoselton home in Richardton. One the way she met Mary Ann Sheets-Hanson of Valley City at Kerry's Kitchen in Casselton for lunch. Saralee then continued West and stopped in New Salem and visited Connie Johnson. Saralee spent the weekend with Adam, Catie, Mack and Micki. On Saturday Adam, Catie and Saralee met Shirley Linster at Dickinson Trinity School where they attended the Elementary Music Festival in which Micki participated--singing and playing her French horn. Then Adam and Catie took Saralee and Shirley out for lunch to celebrate their April birthdays. Saralee returned home April 23rd. Marvin and Clarice Mosolf and Liz Kirkeby flew from Fargo to Mesa April 20th to visit Mark and ]aime Sue Hovet. They returned home April 23rd. Ben and Kriss Tucker of St. Thomas visited Richard and Gayle McConnell April 22nd and celebrated Kriss' birthday. Saralee Hoselton was among those who attended The Ox Cart Trails Historical Quarterly Meeting April 23rd at the Tisdale Manor Dining Room. Wednesday Saralee Hoselton visited Linda Hoselton in Grafton. Ellen Marciniak visited Carol Ritzo in the Rehab in Grand Forks April 26th. Marcia Peterson visited Steve and Ellen later that day. That day Saralee Hoselton went to Fargo where she met Ardis Haaland for lunch to celebrate their April birthdays. They ate at Cafd de Robert in the Sheel's Hardware Store which is operated by former Drayton resident Michelle Bates. That evening Saralee had supper with the Geoff and Hope Hoselton family and then attended the 7th and 8th Grade Spring Choral Concert at the Carl Ben Eielson Middle School; Faith and Dakotah sang in several choirs. Nell Hanson was a coffee guest of Richard and Gayle McConnell April 26th. April 27th Richard and Gayle McConnell had lunch with ]im and loan Evenson at Perkin's in Grand Forks. That day ]an Styles took Saralee Hoselton out for a belated birthday lunch at the Main Street Bistro in Cavalier. Brandon and Anthony Patterson visited Steve and Ellen Marciniak Saturday. Richard and Gayle McConnell met Mike and Rachel Wittrock and Ava of Fargo at the Grand Forks home of Casey and Kelly McWilliams to meet baby Ella. Later Richard, Gayle, Rachel, Mike and Ava had supper at Perkins and rJr,uah with the rJu,ck! by Leo Iechmp "Our Gallery"; By the time you read this article our 41st annual art show will be history and I hope you all had a chance to visit our fine display of paintings, photography and selected crafts of leather, paper work and bead work. We at the Brush Bunch are busy the year round meeting most of the Tuesdays of the year. We do take a few days off, most of that is in December. The photographers travel around with their cameras by their side the year round also. Kevin "Cocoa" Beauchamp always has his and has a very good eye for things of nature. As shown, he loves sunsets and sunrises. I, once, mentioned to him that he loved sunsets. He told me that many of the sun pictures were sunrises. He has numerous pictures ofwildlife, old scraped machinery, buildings and clouds of all shapes and forms. If you didn't have a chance to visit our Art Show #41 this past weekend be sure to stop by the Gorge Art Gallery on Main Street Walhalla any Tuesday and you can still get a glimpse of some of our work. We may also offer you some coffee? A reminder; The hours at the Gallery and Chamber Office where our Gorge Gallery is located have changed. We are now open Mondays from 10-4, Tuesdays are our painting days with the same hours. Deirde Lee is the new Chamber director and is open the rest of the week from 2:30 until 6pm. Pre-Mother's Day Extravaganza The Drayton Booster Club is looking for baked goods for our bake sale on May 12. If you'd like to donate and you need someone to pick it up for you please call Gen @ 360-2395 or Meridith @ 360- 1204. Or they can be dropped off at the school Friday night May 11, or Saturday morning May 12. This is the, 3rd year the Booster Club has put together the pre-Mother's Day Shopping Extravaganza and it has been a great success. The club would like to thank the community for their support. This year they will have 40 vendors as well as the bake sale and silent auction. The club is always needing items for the silent auction too. Good place to spend Saturday.
