(c 75 Cents Thursday, November 17th, 2011 The Official Newspaper of the City ii of Drayton and i Drayton Public School Volume 29 - Number 44 A More Than Expected, Looks Like It Could Be Here to Stay iii ~ ! ! ii) IZII/I : I just finished digging my carrots and working up the garden on Sunday. Appears to have been just in time, as a wet blanket of snow suddenly appeared on Tuesday afternoon. The national weather service had predicted a haft inch or less for our area, but were a bff off. Looks like we got two or three inches and it's likely here to stay. The weather for the week ahead offers little as far as a snow melt might concerned and after that it's almost December. About time I suppose, weVe been pretty lucky weather-wise this fall. That's Ted and Lucille Passa's place pictured above, the picture taken toward the end of the snowfall. In a few days we should be seeing Christmas decorations in their lawn. Above, they are standing at the foot of the famed staircase and at right in the wheel house of the great ship. Unfortunately looking in the wrong direction. Turn around girls, I think that's a huge iceberg I'm seeing out the window. Saralee and Bonnie were on a tour to Branson, Missouri, which was arranged by the KodaBanic On Tuesday November 11th, they took in the Titanic Exhibit there and had a chance to explore the ship. Upon entering the exhibit each took on the name and identity of two actual passengers who were on the ship. At the end of the tour they got to discover the fates of the people they were representing.
