Beside one picture were these words, "You have touched the lives of generations and you will never be forgotten." I don't know if he realized how many lives he touched along his journey but his legacy stretches far and wide and his memory will live on. Sometimes along the way life gives us people who bring us peace within the living and sanctity to help us through the difficult times. Fred the Bear was one of those people; there was sacredness in his presence. He will eternally remain, "The best there is, the best there was, thebest there will ever be." Ole called Sven the next day and related the following: Ole said, "Gees I knew I drank too much wine and knew darn vell dat I was realy wasted, so I did someting I'd never done before. Believe it or not, I took da bus home and I arrived home safely and without incident .... dig vas really a surprise to me because I'd never driven a bus before, Bowesmont Lives Grand Forks, Mike Ryan, Jessie, Dylan and Gavin Meader of Drayton were Christmas guests of Cindy Meader. Marvin and Clarice Mosolf spent Christmas afternoon with Jim and Liz Kirkeby and Jamie Hovet in Buxton. Steve and Ellen Marciniak spent Christmas with the Peter Marciniak family in Drayton.
